I bought the Baby Einstein Take Along Tunes Musical Toy for my eight-month-old baby girl a few months back, and it has become one of her favorite toys. I’ll admit that her incessant use of it gets on our nerves sometimes, but she never leaves the house without it. It’s an mp3 player for babies, and nothing is more adorable than watching her lightly sway with the seven melodious tunes and giggle.
What to expect from Baby Einstein Take Along Tunes Musical Toy?
It’s got a beady handle that is comfortable to hold and safe for the baby. My Anaya often likes to give it a good chew, so I suggest you clean the handle often. It’s colorful and has sweet baby melodies that Anaya adores. (Albeit, we’re a little tired of hearing them) With a big button to flip through the melodies, it’s the go-to toy for my girl when she gets cranky. Seriously, it works like magic. It also has scintillating lights that come on when you play the music, and I’ve seen her mesmerized for longer than she plays with any other toys.
I highly recommend it for children in their first year. My partner and I did some research on healthy stimulation during the first year and music is great for a growing baby. Listening to music is associated with many health benefits and learning to appreciate it helps in our capacity to learn/ Analytical intelligence is hugely dependent on pattern recognition which is improved by listening to music. It’s also extremely portable and economical. Anaya doesn’t like some of her expensive toys as much as she adores this little thing. It goes wherever Anaya goes and is easy to carry around. The best thing about the Baby Einstein Take Along Tunes Musical Toy is the fact that it has volume controls. When you just can’t take the loud tunes anymore just turn the volume down.
Negatives of the Baby Einstein Take Along Tunes Musical Toy?
The battery pack it came with got drained unnaturally fast, but it might have been Anaya’s overuse of it. Nonetheless, I suggest you keep a battery pack as the backup in case it goes off because my girl becomes a nightmare when it stops working. I would like for it to have more tunes because it gets a little repetitive after a little while but as long as baby likes it I’m happy with it, and baby loves it.
I highly recommend it for babies aged newborn to around three years. It’s a delight to see them play with it, and it’s quite the hit for all kids in our family. It’s also got great quality and hasn’t broken or stopped working despite the fact that my girl throws it around a lot.
